SPORTS REMEDIAL MASSAGE
Remedial massage is treatment for the relief of pain. It helps many muscular conditions, both chronic, (such as long standing arthritis) and acute (such as sudden back strain). Remedial massage works thoroughly through muscles and associated soft tissue to aid healing after injury relax muscle fibers which have been strained and are in spasm, or release specific areas of tension which are causing pain. WHAT HAPPENS DURING MASSAGE
You undress in privacy and lie on a massage couch covered with towels. Only the area being worked on need to be exposed. The masseur works using cream or oil, at a depth of pressure you find acceptable. Length of treatment varies Full body massage can take up to 60 minutes, where as lower back pain or a frozen shoulder will require a shorter time but more visits.
